3-in-1 - Conveying, Chipping and Product Feed

HYGHSPIN steel screw spindle pumps are able to easily convey products with viscosities of up to 1,000,000 cPs. However, as is often encountered in the food industry, the conveying medium cannot flow at all, then these products can only reach the pump unit with the aid of forced supply. For this purpose, an external extruder is generally the only possible option. Such a complete system is expensive and difficult to clean. Once the product has finally arrived in the conveying chamber of the pump, then the normal mechanisms begin to increase the pressure. This is the point at which the refined design of HYGPSIN pumps from Jung Process Systems come into their own. For everything that does not flow freely, the engineers from the Pinneberger company have developed a conveyor screw extruder unit. The induction of the conveyed medium is performed in the extruder area which is positioned below the hopper, the pressure increase is executed in the actual pump area with the individually designed conveyor screws for the respective application. This innovative solution enables the conveying processing for your products to be handled gently, to dispense with the external extruder for "feeding" and perform the CIP cleaning in the usual way with the same pump.

Available for pump sizes 70, 90 and 125

The newly-styled conveyor screw extruder unit is available for the pump sizes HYGHSPIN 70, 90 and HYGHSPIN 125. The maximum conveying flow rate is approximately 20 m3/h, the pressure difference in the standard version is set at a maximum of 10 bar. Users can rely on the tried and tested HYGHSPIN advantages. The pumps comply with the design principles for hygienic design. They are made entirely of stainless steel. The non-contact running conveyor screws guarantee an absolutely gentle and pulsation-free conveying. The mechanical seals are positioned exactly in the flow area and are therefore excellently cooled and cleaned. All elastomers which come into contact with the product are designed to be cleaned simply as FDA-compliant form rings.
