Twin-screw pumps

Twin-screw pumps

CHEMSPIN ES – the 3-in-1 solution: Infeed, conveying, and cleaning

The CHEMSPIN ES is a special version of the stainless steel CHEMSPIN pump series. The innovative twin-screw pump with hopper opening is able to handle products with viscosities up to 5000 mPa·s without problems. Its screws are extended at the inlet, so that non-flowable products are drawn in below the inlet opening (like an extruder) and fed to the pump chamber. As a result, external feeding devices are not necessary in many cases. Moreover, product feed is much gentler in this way.

Consequently, the CHEMSPIN ES represents a very attractive 3-in-1 solution: Infeed, conveying, and cleaning are carried out in a single unit. It is available in the sizes 70, 90 and 125.

Advantages at a glance
  • Self-feeding properties
The lengthened feed screws are able to draw in viscous products like a screw conveyor. As a result, external feeding devices are not necessary in many cases.

  • Very high flexibility
Many different products and a wide range of flow quantities and viscosities can be handled by a single pump. Reverse operation is possible – the range of different pumps in a plant can be reduced considerably.

  • Safe operation
Loaded, abrasive or lumpy media can be conveyed – a suitable shaft seal can provide dry-run protection. Very low vibration and noise levels.

  • Self-priming, able to handle entrained gas
Outstanding suitability for emptying & transfer pumping operations.

  • High chemical resistance
The CHEMSPIN is made of 1.4404 stainless steel as standard. Hardened pumping elements and contactless operation ensure high wear resistance.
