Jung Process Systems has doubled its sales within two years

With currently almost 2,000 pumps installed and annual sales of over 6 million Euros in 2014, Jung Process Systems has achieved a new milestone in the young company's history. The Pinneberger pump manufacturer has succeeded in doubling turnover with the HYGHSPIN steel screw spindle pumps from January 2013 to December 2014. Europe and North America have contributed almost equally to revenue growth; the dairy processing industry now forms the largest customer group.

Jung Process Systems can now look back on two very successful years. The significant growth in turnover since the launch of HYGHSPIN pumps in 2013 and 2014 has now once again accelerated considerably. "We entered into production in 2009 with a lot of enthusiasm for own pump series and today, five years later, we are very proud of what we have achieved", says Anke Jung, Managing Director of Jung Process Systems about the satisfactory growth. "This increase in business has totally exceeded our own ambitious goals. The prospects for 2015 are also exceptional. We expect a continued demand in this area", added Anke Jung. Weshen Christov, responsible for technology in the management board, added: "We are well respected and accepted as a technological pioneer and are constantly working on the further development of our pumps."

Innovative strength continues unabated

Even before the launch of the HYGHSPIN pump series as part of drinktec 2009, the company was able to provide a complete model range of four sizes with conveying flow rates of 30 l/h up to 300 m³/h. In 2012 the double flow HYGHSPIN DF was introduced which is especially suitable for high pressure applications. The pump design was slightly modified in the same year. An inspection opening has since facilitated the exact adjustment for backlashes after an exchange of the conveyor screws or mechanical seals. In conjunction with its international sales and service partners, Jung Process Systems always reacts flexibly to customer requirements and has provided HYGHSPIN pumps since 2013 as a completely pre-assembled unit with important peripheral equipment such as control systems and other control and regulating instruments. In recent months, the Pinneberger based company has developed a new hygienic steel screw spindle pump for non freely flowing foodstuff as a serial production with the HYGHSPIN H which will also be the focal point at the Anuga FoodTec presentation. Weshen Christov still sees considerable potential for steel screw spindle pumps: "We are already working on additional pump adaptations in order to open up new business markets."

Strong sales partners ensure an international presence

The export share was around 80% of the turnover in 2014. The most important export markets are Europe and North America. Strong, long-standing partners in these regions are the first point of contact for local customers. A close connection between the partners and the head office in Pinneberg, and the intensive exchange with regard to the respective market requirements underpin the innovation force and support rapid response times. "In order to secure our future growth, it will be an essential task in the near future to find additional sales and service partners who also share our philosophy in those countries where we are not established to date. This is especially true for the Asian region", adds Anke Jung.
