Jung Process Systems GmbH expands pump-manufacturing capacity

Thanks to the continuing expansion of sales of the HYGHSPIN twin screw pump, Jung Process Systems GmbH is expanding its production capacity. At the company headquarters in Kummerfeld near Hamburg, a new 1200 m2 hall is being built, in which all future twin screw pumps for the global food and beverage industries will be constructed. Completion is planned for this September, following the recent and successful breaking of the ground on site.

Seven years ago, Jung Process Systems GmbH grew out of Jung & Co. Gerätebau GmbH, founded in 1972 and specializes in the development and sales of hygienic twin screw pumps. Under the brand name HYGHSPIN, the stainless steel pumps are designed for conveying highly viscous media by means of two counter-rotating rotors. Among other things, they excel at high performance and reliability. HYGHSPIN twin screw pumps comply with hygienic design standards and are therefore commonly used in the food and beverage industries. The majority of customers come from the dairy industry, breweries, the fine foods sector, and the soft drinks industry. HYGHSPIN twin screw pumps are also used in the pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries. CIP cleaning ensures that the pumps can effectively be used for a variety of different fluids.

This new build is made all the more essential by the increasing amount of export business and its associated continual financial growth into double digits. The new hall serves for the expansion of both production capacity and machinery. In addition to the current workplace, there will be a further 4 individual assembly stations and 2 testing stations which, in the future, will allow the development of even larger orders.
